Lexington police busted a prostitution ring and arrested five people Tuesday.
According to court documents, Marco Antonio Flores, 38, was the leader of a prostitution ring operated out of Adrian Lezama-Ruiz's apartment on Cross Keys Road. The ring allegedly delivered prostitutes across state lines.
Police charged Flores and Lezama-Ruiz, 26, with operating a criminal syndicate and promoting prostitution.
Police also arrested Roberto Rivera Salinas, 35, and Roxana Olea Serna, 36, charging them with operating a criminal syndicate and promotion of prostitution. They allegedly drove prostitutes to various locations. Danelia Altagracia Santos-Evangelista, 46, faces a criminal syndicate charge. She was allegedly engaging in prostitution.
According to court documents, all five pleaded not guilty.
