Lexington police officers had to deploy a Taser to get a suspect under control late Thursday night.
Police say the owner of a home on North Broadway called police about 11p.m. reporting that his drunk brother would not leave. Officers arrived and escorted the man outside where he reportedly became "belligerent, argumentative and disorderly." Officers say the suspect began to resist as they tried to handcuff him, and they deployed a Taser to get him under control.
Police arrested Charles Mason, 59, and charged him with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. EMS checked him out at the scene, and police then took him to jail.
