Police say they found nearly 1,000 illegal pills inside a van during a traffic stop in Laurel County Monday.

Troopers stopped a Chevrolet Astro work van along I-75 for a traffic violation Monday afternoon. Police say when the driver couldn't show an ID and the two men inside told conflicting stories, troopers brought in a K9, searched the vehicle and found 869 oxycodone pills hidden in the dash. Police say they also found a large amount of cash on one of the suspects.

Police arrested Burke Webb, 52, and Calvin Caldwell, 54, both from Mansfield, Ohio, and charged them with drug trafficking.
