LOUISVILLE (AP) - Police in southwestern Jefferson County are trying to find out who shot and killed a 19-year-old man in the middle of the afternoon in a parking lot near a busy intersection.
Shively Police Department Sgt. Josh Meyers told WAVE-TV that a gray car pulled up to Kenneth Forbes Jr. at about 4 p.m. EDT Sunday. Meyers said an altercation took place and someone shot Forbes at least once.
Meyers said there's nothing to indicate the shooting was a random act.
Meyers said police are looking at surveillance videos and talking to witnesses to put together a timeline and possibly identify who was in the car.
