LEX 18 News has obtained a police report that says the Illinois man accused of robbing a bank in Hamburg Friday, admitted the crime and also told detectives he robbed a bank in Erlanger about two hours earlier.

28-year old Daniel F. Vincent of Aurora, Illinois is charged with first degree robbery for holding up the First Federal Bank on Sir Barton just before 11:30 Friday morning.  According to the police report, Vincent implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller.  He ran from the bank with nearly $4000 in stolen money.

In his interview with police, Vincent allegedly admitted robbing a bank in Erlanger just after 9:00 Friday morning.

Lexington Police arrested Vincent after he led them on a four county chase, before crashing a Mercedes SUV just outside of Cynthiana.

We've also learned in 2002, the then 21-year old plead guilty to robbing a bank in Homewood, IL.  At that time, he also told a judge he was responsible for holding up 15 banks between 2001-2002.  Vincent was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison.  When he was arrested Friday, he was on federal probation.
