The Madison County Sheriff's Department is investigating a crash at the intersection of Kentucky 1016 and Battlefield Memorial Highway, north of Berea.

It happened around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. Investigators say Angela Foster, 23, of Rockcastle County, drove through a stop sign and struck a truck driven by Richard Wilburn, 36, of Berea. Foster's passenger, Anna Rodriguez, 55, died at the scene. Investigators say she was not wearing a seat belt.

Foster and another passenger, a 2 year old child, were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. Wilburn was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
