Police are investigating after a man allegedly wrecked his vehicle on a Lexington road and then fled the scene on foot Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 9:30 a.m. near New Circle Road and Alumni Drive. Officials say the man wrecked his vehicle for unknown causes and then fled on foot toward the Pimlico Parkway and Yellowstone Parkway, were he was later arrested.

So far, police have not yet released the name of the man or the charges he may face.
