Police in Boyle County are investigating an early morning home invasion near Junction City.

Investigators say two men entered a home on Weatherby Lane around 3:30 a.m Monday and held the couple living there at gunpoint. The burglars stole the family's television and a gun collection. A man living in the house was hit over the head with a gun. Police say they don't know why the suspect struck the victim.

Police say the suspects are white males, one in his 20's and the other in his 30's. The two men possibly escaped in a dark colored getaway car.

Investigators say they believe the two men were also involved in an ttempt to steal gasoline from a Garrard County home earlier in the morning.
