Police are investigating a death in Garrard County.

Police say family members called Thursday concerned they had not heard from Ormand VanWinkle, 64, in several days. When officers checked the home in Drakes Creek, near Crab Orchard, they found VanWinkle inside dead.

Police did not say if they considered the death suspicious.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
