Police in Georgetown continue the search for a man who robbed a downtown gas station early Friday morning.

Police say a masked man carrying a large kitchen knife walked into the Shell station on East Main Street around 3 a.m. and demanded cash. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and ran off toward the Main Street extension.

There were no injuries.

Investigators only got a vague description of the robber since he was wearing that mask. He was also wearing dark pants, a dark hoodie and white shoes.
