Police are investigating after a robbery at a Lexington business Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1 p.m. at the Parent - Teacher Store in Keithshire Plaza. Police say a white male in his 20s pretended to be shopping before they say he pulled out a gun and robbed the clerk. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police are investigating whether or not this robbery is connected to a robbery at a tanning salon located in the same shopping plaza over the weekend.
