Gunfire broke out along a Lexington street Sunday night.
Police say they received several calls reporting a man trading shots with somebody inside a car along East Loudon Avenue near Maple Avenue around 11 p.m. One round went through the front door of a home, and a bullet tore through the wall of a bedroom across the street. A couple getting ready for bed found the bullet hole just inches above their pillows.
There were no reported injuries.
Officers collected several shell casings along the street.
Police say nobody got a good look at the shooters.
