Police Investigate Violent Home Invasion Robbery In Frankfort

Police in Frankfort are investigating a home invasion robbery late Wednesday night in which the one of the two suspects threatened to kill a 10-year-old girl.

The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at a home on Centennial Drive. The victim, 28-year-old Marylyn Cook, told police that she was at her home with her children when two white male suspects entered her residence and demanded money.

Cook reported that one of the suspects was armed with a silver handgun and hit her in the forehead with the butt of it after she stated she had no money. She said the armed suspect threatened to kill her 10-year-old daughter if she did not comply with their demands.

Both suspects then ransacked drawers and closets in the home and then fled the apartment.

The perpetrators are described as follows:

Suspect #1: A white male, about 6'1" tall, with a slender build, wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt and jeans with a white T-shirt covering his mouth and nose and armed with a silver handgun.

Suspect#2: A white male, about 5'7" tall, with an average build, wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt, and jeans with a white t-shirt covering his mouth and nose.
