State Police are on the lookout for a man who walked away from custody this week.

Ellis Cortez Smith walked off from his work detail in Campbell County on Thursday and hasn't been seen since. According to the State Online Offender lookup, Smith was locked up late last year and is serving a six-year sentence for drug-trafficking charges.

State Police say they will pick up Cortez anywhere in the continental US.
