Police have made an arrest in a Lexington shooting.
The victim showed up at UK Hospital on Aug. 27 suffering from a gunshot wound to the side. According to court documents, the victim told officers he was sitting in a vehicle parked on Hawkins Avenue waiting for a friend when a gold/grey Cadillac pulled up and a man known as "G-Co" fired shots at him.
According to the arrest warrant, the victim identified Gordon Lee Carsby Jr., 27, in a police lineup. Officers arrested Carsby Thursday morning and charged him with assault and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
