Lexington police say they arrested a prostitute after she robbed one of her customers Tuesday night.

Police say the man showed up at the fire station on Martin Luther King Boulevard near Third Street around 11 p.m. and reported the robbery. The victim told officers the woman took his wallet during a sex act and then punched him in the face when he confronted her.

Police found Tanya Williams, 33, with the man's wallet and arrested her nearby a short time later. She faces a robbery charge.

Investigators have not said if the man will face any charges.
