UK junior wide receiver Matt Roark caused damage to his vehicle and a parked vehicle before he was arrested by Lexington Police on a DUI charge early Sunday morning, according to the police report of the incident.

Roark was arrested just before 6 a.m. on Wood Valley Court in Lexington and was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

According to the police report, Roark told police that he "drank a couple of shots." They say Roark had "slurred speech", that his "eyes were glassy, bloodshot" and that Roark was "swaying with a staggered walk."

The report said that Roark was not hurt when he hit the parked car that "caused heavy damage" to both vehicles.

UK coach Joker Phillips said Monday that Roark had been suspended from the team for Saturday's game at Mississippi State for a violation of team rules, but did not elaborate.

Roark is scheduled for a court appearance in the case on Thursday.
