Police say a man in jail for an assault admits to being the suspect in a Lexington standoff in October.

Parico Coffey, 20, was booked for hitting a man in the face with a beer bottle. Police say Coffey bragged to the victim that he was the suspect in a standoff on Osage Court. That incident happened in October when a suspect sped away from a crash and ran inside an apartment with a gun. After nearly three hours, no one was found inside.

Coffey has yet to be charged in that standoff.
