State Police in Frankfort say a complaint received in Shelby County on Facebook has led to an arrest of a suspect in a case involving a female juvenile.
Police say the complaint was of a sexual nature involving a female juvenile. On November 29, a KSP Post 12 Internet Crimes against Children detective started an investigation. The investigation led to a suspect on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registration (KSOR). On Monday at approximately 3:30 p.m., detectives from the Frankfort Post executed a search warrant at a residence on Jail Hill Road in Shelbyville. Police say they seized evidence, handguns and other firearms from Anthony T. Bradford's residence.
Bradford, 41, was arrested and taken to the Shelby County Detention Center. He has been charged with registrant prohibited from using social networking web site internet messaging or chat room program by minor (Class A Misdemeanor), distributing obscene matter to minor, first offense (Class A Misdemeanor), prohibited use of electronic communication to procure a minor (Class D Felony), possession of handgun by convicted felon (Class D Felony) and possession of firearm by convicted felon (Class D Felony).
The investigation is ongoing by the KSP Post 12 Internet Crimes against Children division.
