Lexington Police said a man was stabbed and a woman was injured during a home invasion early Friday.

Around 3:15 a.m., a man said he was walking his dog at the Saddlebrook Apartments off Tates Creek Road when a naked, bloody woman came running up to him screaming for help. Police were called to the scene and when they arrived, they noticed a ladder against a building. Officers believe two suspects climbed up the ladder to get inside an apartment, assaulted the woman and stabbed her boyfriend.

The man who was stabbed ended up at a relative's home off Arbor Drive. Police are trying to the determine how the two victims ended up in different locations.

Both were taken to UK Hospital. No word on their names or conditions, but we're told the woman received minor injuries.

So far, no arrests have been made.
