Police were on the scene of a domestic dispute in Lexington between a father and son Tuesday morning in which police say one of them fired a shot at a police officer.
The incident happened at about 10:45 a.m. on Woodside Circle. Police say the son, 32-year-old Phillip Resmondo, was the person who shot at police with a shotgun. At that point, his father tackled him, and assisted police, who ended up tazering the son before taking him into custody.
Police say no one was hit by the gunfire. Phillip Resmondo was taken into custody for questioning, and is charged with wanton endangerment. More charges are expected.
