Police continue to search for a man after a stabbing incident in Jessamine County over the weekend.

Ogan Whitaker says his brother-in-law, William Shearer, stabbed him in the chest during a fight Saturday afternoon.

"After I whooped him, he basically kind of went back to the bedroom. I thought it was over with. But when he come back, after I started laying into him again, I didn't know it. I thought he was trying to grab me, I didn't know I got stabbed until blood was all over me and my mother told me, you're stabbed."

Whitaker's injury was described as minor.

Shearer took off before officers arrived, and police continue to search for him.
