Police in Jessamine County are searching for a suspect after a check cashing store was robbed Monday morning.

The incident happened at about 10:40 a.m. at Pete's Check Cashing on Main Street in Nicholasville. Police say the suspect implied he had a weapon and demanded cash. He got away with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect is described as a thin white man, about 5-foot-8 weighing 150 to 160 pounds with brown-gray curly hair.
