Lexington police searched the hallways of Henry Clay High School Monday night after an attempted robbery in the area.

Police say a witness called around 11:30 p.m after spotting a woman chasing a man in the area of Richmond Road and Lakeshore Drive. Investigators say the man implied he had a gun and tried to rob the woman, but she called his bluff and chased him away. While searching for the suspect, officers found a door open at the school. Police brought in a K9 and searched the building, but didn't find anything out of place.

Police say they are still looking for the suspect.
