Police searched a Lexington home for a Louisville escapee after he made several phone calls overnight.
Officers searched the home on Augusta Drive around 2 a.m., looking for Louis Taylor, 24. Police say investigators tracked a phone Taylor was using to the address, but they found no sign of the fugitive there.
According to jail officials,Taylor went missing from the LMDC Community Correction Center sometime during the day Monday.
Taylor's mother called the LEX 18 newsroom Wedneday morning and tearfully pled for her son to turn himself in.
Taylor has arrests on record in Lincoln and Madison Country. Authorities say they consider him dangerous.
