Fire crews battled wind-driven brush fires in Powell County on Sunday.

A few small fires quickly spread due to high winds in the area. A red flag warning was issued early Sunday. It has since been cancelled.

There were no reported injuries, or damage to any structures.

Officials did not release any information on how many acres the blazes scorched.
