Authorities in Harrison County say a pregnant woman, who was supposed to turn herself in Tuesday for sentencing after pleading guilty to several charges, but ran away after arriving at court has been arrested.

According to Sheriff's Deputies, Tara Fryman, 29, is four months pregnant and had been out on bail. She recently pleaded guilty to complicity to commit robbery and being the driver in a robbery. She also admitted to criminal possession.

"Apparently, she doesn't want to go to jail," said Deputy Steve McCauley with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office. "She's on drugs and that just made her mind wander and she wasn't thinking straight... she was going to jail at that point and that's when she took off out of the Justice Center and ran."

Investigators said Wednesday around 4 p.m. they were acting on a tip, when they found Fryman and arrested her.

When Fryman arrived at the Sheriff's Office in a cruiser, Deputy McCauley said, "she apparently slipped out of her handcuffs and when he turned his back, she took off running."

Fryman made it half a block before being caught.

"We're hoping this will make her straighten out and come out on a better end because she's got an unborn child that needs to be taken care of and she's got other kids, too."

Fryman is being held in the Grant County jail. She faces two charges of escape.

Investigators are not saying where they found Fryman.
