John Wall has already gotten some love from President Barack Obama.

Before the Cats played South Carolina this past season, the president called the team to congratulate them on their fundraising efforts for Haiti.

Obama told Wall he'd been watching him.

On Tuesday, in an interview with Marv Albert about the NBA, Obama gave Wall some high praise.

"Wall is a terrific player. He's got NBA speed, NBA body, great jump shot, unselfish, really impressive. There's only upside for that kid. And I think it'd be great for him to come to Washington," Obama said.

John Wall responded via his twitter.

"Thanks President Obama for the shout out."
