A Pulaski County teen remains at UK Hospital after contracting bacterial meningitis.

Samantha Warren's parents say they first noticed symptoms last Thursday. But on Friday, the 17-year-old developed delirium and a high fever. Doctors did a spinal tap and diagnosed Warren with bacterial meningitis. She was flown to UK Hospital. Samantha's mom, Connie, says her daughter looked lifeless as they put her in the helicopter and she wasn't sure her daughter would make it.

The Warrens say doctors are hopeful Samantha will make a full recovery.
