A Pulaski County woman accused in the alleged abuse of her child has been arrested after being on the run following her indictment last week.

Lemuel Burton, 29, and Kendra Johnson, 23, originally surrendered to police in November and were later released on bond. But now, a grand jury has indicted the pair on abuse charges involving the four-year-old, who was found to have bruising around the head, neck and face.

Burton was re-arrested on February 12, but there was no sign of Johnson. She was arrested Tuesday night, and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
