Happy New Year! It's a less than ideal start to 2013 out there weather-wise. We're already seeing some light rain push through the region. Some sleet and light snow is coming down in extreme northern portions of the Commonwealth. Overnight tonight, we'll see some light snow and sleet mix in with the rain further south. Light snow and sleet accumulations of less than an inch are possible by morning. The wintry mix will make roads slippery as we move into the late night hours tonight and on into New Year's Day tomorrow. Be careful on the roads and have a safe and happy holiday!
