Rescued Horses Now Have New Home

About two dozen horses are now in a new home in Carlisle after they were rescued from a farm on the Kentucky-Tennessee border.

LEX 18 first reported the story last week. The Buckland Equine Rescue was preparing for the Arabian horses to be transported. It came after they were found severely malnourished at a farm.

The Rescue says they've gotten several donations, but still have a long way to go, especially since a few horses are set to give birth any day now.

If you'd like to make a donation, search for the "Buckland Equine Rescue" on Facebook. They have a link there.
