People inside a Lexington apartment apparently frightened off a burglar Thursday night.

Police say a burglar entered an apartment on Lake Park Road, off Richmond Road, around 11 p.m. People were inside and they apparently scared the intruder off. The burglar threw a rock through a window as he left.

Nobody was injured.
