LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 27, 2010) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways announces that the rest area in Clark County is now closed temporarily until further notice.

The rest area is located on the eastbound side of Interstate 64 between mile markers 98 and 99. The closure is for Columbia Gas to perform work on a new pipeline.

All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
