Police say they have arrested a man they suspect was trying to rob a Madison County bank on Monday.
Police say David L. James, 46, tried to get into the Cumberland Valley National Bank in Richmond after it closed. Investigators say employees told them they saw James outside the bank earlier and described his car. Police say they found him in the vehicle along with a BB gun, a mask, gloves, written notes and a trench coat. Police say they also found drug pipes in the car.
Police charged James with robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
