Road Report For Counties West Of Lexington

The precipitation has come to an end across the eight counties of District 5, west of Lexington. But officials say winds are causing snow to blow back across roadways and form drifts in some areas.

KYTC crews will continue to salt and plow as necessary to clear routes. Most "A " routes (major routes) are clear and crews are moving to "B" and "C" routes.

The road conditions by county as of 8:30 a.m. are shown below:

Bullitt - roadways have wet to dry pavement, snow and ice operations have ceased

Franklin - C routes are partly covered, crews salting

Henry - roadways are partly covered, crews salting and plowing

Jefferson - roadways have wet pavement, crews are monitoring

Oldham - roadways are partly covered, crews plowing

Shelby - roadways are partly covered, crews plowing and pushing back slush on shoulders

Spencer - roadways are partly covered, crews salting and plowing

Trimble - roadways are partly covered, crews salting and plowing
