A Lexington man suffered a minor head injury during a robbery early Thursday morning.

Police say the robber knocked on the door of a home on Delmont Drive around 3 a.m. When the victim opened the door, the suspect punched him in the face and stole a moped that was parked inside.

EMS took the victim to UK Hospital for treatment. He is expected to be OK.

Police say they did not get a good description of the robber.
