Rockcastle County Man Sentenced In Road Rage Case

A Rockcastle County man who entered an Alford plea in the killing of his sister in a road rage case was sentenced Friday.

Clyde White originally faced murder and attempted murder charges. Police say he ran his two elderly siblings off the road in a fit of rage back in August 2011. White's sister, Dorothy Whitaker, later died at UK Hospital from her injuries.

On Friday, White was sentenced to 10 years in prison on a second-degree manslaughter conviction. The plea does not admit guilt, but acknowledges enough evidence exists for a conviction.
