Morehead Police have arrested a woman who they say embezzled money from the Bath County Ambulance District.

36-year-old Angel Masterson is charged with theft by unlawful taking over $10,000.

Police say Masterson was working for a CPA company in Morehead between May and August. According to investigators, Masterson made a fake employee and collected the money she received from the bank and put it in her own personal account. She collected over $53,000.

She is behind bars in Carter County. Her bond has been set at $53,000.
