A Rowan County man was airlifted to UK Hospital following a single-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 1:15 p.m. on Kentucky 801 North in Morehead. Police say Anthony Derek Blankenship, 30, of Morehead was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger northbound when he lost control of the pickup truck, drove off the roadway and through two fences.

So far, there is no word on Blankenship's condition.
