A man has been charged with murder in a shooting on Branch View Lane in Russell County.

Police say 43-year-old Daniel Poppelwell and 45-year-old Charles Farmer got into a fight on April 27th.

Officials say that's when Farmer shot and killed Poppelwell. Farmer has been charged with murder and is behind bars at the Russell County Detention Center.
