Last year, there were times it seemed like UK struggled to get a first down. Over the past three games, though, UK's offense is averaging 32 points a game.

"It's a lot of fun," said UK offensive coordinator Randy Sanders. "It makes you stay late at night because you spend more time game planning. If you are just running the same 40 or 50 plays like we've had to do some in the past there is not a whole lot of reason to stay. You prepare for what you are going to see. But now we are able to get up on the board with a pen and eraser and draw something up. No, I don't like that. Draw something else up, no I don't like that. We draw something else, yeah, that should score. So it makes it a lot of fun as a coaching staff and it's nice to have players that can do that."

If you are part of the Georgia coaching staff, it's tough to know what to plan for when you find out how UK has been doing things this season.

"I probably shouldn't say this, the most we have run any pass this year is eight times," said Sanders. "We've had 138 different pass calls. Different protections different route combinations. Something like that. Whenever you can run 138 different route combinations or something like that, it tells you how flexible our guys have been."

The change in UK's offense is a credit to both the players and coaches. "Obviously, anytime you are on offense you would like to be on the attack. And you want to attack as much as possible. The better players that you have and the better those players are playing the easier it is to attack. And we've got guys playing pretty well."

It's a big change from last season. "After (Hartline) got hurt, there wasn't a lot of diversity in that point," said Sanders. "You never want to do more than the quarterback can do and the offensive line can do. Mike's allowing us to do a lot. And what Coach Summers and the offensive lineman have been able to do has allowed us to do more than I thought we'd be able to."

That's big. Sanders has a bunch of Cats that are doing more than he expected. That's fun for any coach.
