A Scott County man could soon face more charges for the death of his friend in a weekend crash.

Police say Frank Lazarin was drunk Sunday morning when he crashed into a guardrail on I-75. Lazarin's passenger, Roger Daniels, was killed in the wreck.

The two men were roommates, and their neighbors say they're heartbroken by the news.

"Just so sad," said Patricia van Valkenburg. "I know Roger's not hurting anywhere. But I just can't imagine Frank waking up today."

Lazarin was arrested for DUI, and police say he could face more charges.
