Second Lexington Carjacking In Two Nights

Lexington police are investigating a second carjacking in two nights.

The latest robbery happened along Alexandria Drive, just a couple of miles from a similar crime on Tuesday morning.

Police say the victim told them he got home from work around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. He parked his car at a business near his apartment, and as he got out, two men approached. Officers say one of the suspects was armed with a gun. The carjackers demanded the victim's keys and took off with his car.

The victim was not injured.

Police say the car was a silver Nissan Sentra with Kentucky license plate 3-2-1 D-B-Z.

Two armed men took another car along Versailles Road early Tuesday morning after the victim gave the suspects a ride. Police used GPS and found the vehicle abandoned on Caywood Drive a few hours later.
