Lexington police are now investigating a second Monday morning gas station robbery.

Police say the same suspect who robbed the Shell station at the corner of New Circle Road and Russell Cave Road at around 4:30 a.m. walked into the Shell station on the corner of New Circle Road and North Broadway about 45 minutes later. It remains unclear if the robber got away with any cash.

The suspect was last seen running along the railroad tracks that run behind the gas station.

The clerk was not injured.
