LOUISVILLE (AP) - The National Weather Service has confirmed a second tornado in Kentucky, this one in Warren County, and says it occurred early Wednesday as strong winds were plowing through the state.

The weather service categorized the tornado as an EF-2 with winds from 120 to 125 mph. The damage occurred northeast of Bowling Green and may extend outside of Warren County.

A weather service survey team was continuing its investigation.

Earlier, a tornado was confirmed in Marion County, northeast of Warren County. Two people were injured there and a trailer was blown off its foundation.

The rough weather plowed through ahead of a cold front moving into the state.
