Until now, pictures were the closest most of us would ever get to seeing the inside of Woodford County's Castle Post. But this year, it's opening its gates to the public, offering a special holiday tour to benefit needy families.
Local decorators are donating their time and talent to ready the Castle Post for the holidays. For a forty dollar donation to the Salvation Army, you can see it.
All of the money raised through this benefit will go to help needy families in Central Kentucky.
The tours begin Sunday, December 6th, and run through Tuesday, December 8th.
Parking will be at Kings Way Assembly Church across Versailles Road, then you'll be shuttled to Castle Post. For questions, call the Salvation Army.

It would be wonderful if 2 organization could benefit from his generosity.
The Salvation Army
and The Humane Society
If they were to ask people to bring in one pet item or even give a discount off the $40 discount if they bring a bag or can of pet food.
Please pass this information on. Both organization are in need right now.

That is SUCH a good idea. I hope they will at least consider it for another time if too late to put in place this year.

In January, perhaps for a certain amount of time, offer the $40 donation to the animal shelters and use them to purchase services from vets and/or needed supplies. "Every Dog Has It's Day" :)
