Interesting thoughts from UK running backs coach Steve Pardue on how he "sells" Kentucky to recruits.

"This year I was getting in late. I mainly dealt with the running backs. I think here at Kentucky it's an easy sell. Most kids' goal is to make it to the NFL. Our pro-style offense is what everyone is looking for. I tell the kids, we're going to run the inside-outside zone, we're going to teach you to pass block and we're going to throw the ball to you out of the backfield. We don't guarantee anybody that they'll play after going to school here but the four things we do promise them is that we're going to work as hard as we can to get them a degree, we're going to teach them to be a good father, we're going to teach them to be a good husband and we're going to teach them how to be good in their community. We get those four things done, then we feel like we've done our job."
