A part of Georgetown Road was closed Saturday night after a semi-truck jackknifed into a tree.

Police say the accident was not weather-related and the driver over-corrected after one of his wheels went off the road.

Traffic had to be diverted for over an hour as they waited for a tow truck.

The driver told LEX 18 he was shaken up but is otherwise alright.
