A wreck involving a semi tied up traffic along northbound I-75 Monday morning.
Police say a truck carrying medical supplies and vitamins went into the median and jumped a cable barrier into northbound lanes around 1 a.m. The barrier stopped the semi and hung it up in the median, but crews had to block both northbound lanes for several hours. As of 5 a.m., police had one northbound lane reopened, but officials say they expect the other lane to remain closed for the next few hours, as crews work to clear the scene.
The driver of the truck was out and walking around after the crash, but EMS took him to the hospital for treatment of injuries officials described as minor.
